So, while suffering from a case of insomnia, I stumbled upon http://octobersveryown.blogspot.com.

This is the blog of the above rapper, Drake, and his team. I've literally been up for hours going through all of the posts of this blog and I've found so many interesting things. Because I know of, and am a fan of Drake, I assumed the blog was only about him and would be consumed with everything hip-hop...boy was I WRONG. This blog is very...cultured, to say the least. But enough about that...lets get to the music.

Aubrey "Drake" Graham is most definitley one of the illest young rappers out. I've been a fan of his music since "Comeback Season" and a fan of him since Degrassi. On his latest mixtape titled So Far Gone, he brings something new to the table. Critics have compared this to Kanye's 808's and Heartbreaks and while I see where they're coming from, I think Drake has his own thing going on.

To sum it up, if you haven't copped So Far Gone, you are a loser. It is one of the best mixtapes I've heard in a while and I can't wait for the official album.

Prom Queen?

I wasnt sure if I was going to like Lil Wayne the "Rocker", but I must say its not as bad as I thought. Im definitely a fan of Lil Wayne the rapper so this is like a 180. Nevertheless, Im feeling the song ang most definitely the video.

I ♥ the art of tattooing and piercing.

Now, alot of the shit I see I would never get, but nevertheless its still cool.

I absolutely love to see girls with a bright and colorful sleeve.

It looks so freakin' cool. (Ex. Sarah from the Real World: Brooklyn)

Piercings are cool as hell too.

I only have two holes in each ear and a lip ring.

I want my tragus pierced, but Im unsure.

I'll probably get it during Spring Break.

I saw some girls with their dimples pierced and I think thats the cutest.

& I know someone with an "anti-eyebrow" piercing.

Honestly, I don't know what made me want a blog.
I probably wont be too good at this considering I've had tons of online journals before and NEVER kept up with them.
This seems a tad different though so Im just gonna try it out and see what happens.
Since coming to college, I have alot of time on my hands so this should turn out well.
